Privacy at Campser
Campser is a directory you read, not a service you sign up for. That keeps this page short: there are no accounts, no payments, and no advertising or analytics cookies. Last updated July 29, 2026.
What the site collects
- Nothing you have to hand over.Browsing, searching, and comparing camps requires no account, no email address, and no payment details. Registration always happens on the provider's own site, never on Campser.
- A saved location, if you opt in.The optional “remember my location” setting keeps a city name (like “Arlington, VA”) in your browser's local storage. If you use the detect-my-location option, your device's coordinates are matched against a bundled list of covered cities entirely on your device — the coordinates themselves are never transmitted. Clearing your browser data removes the setting.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records the routine technical logs any website receives (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to run and secure the service.
- Email you send us. If you write to a campser.com address, we receive your address and message and use them only to respond.
What the site does not do
- No advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies — the site sets no cookies of its own.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of personal information. There is none to sell.
- No profiles of you or your children, and no data brokered to third parties.
Children
Campser is written for parents and guardians. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the camp listings describe programs, not the children who attend them.
Provider information
Listings contain business information — camp names, addresses, dates, and prices — recorded from each provider's own public website, with the source linked. Providers can request corrections or removal on the provider page.
